Oldschool RuneScape
Firemaking guide 1-99
Firemaking is a tedious, money-losing skill, but much more of a relaxed skill to train. When compared to other buyable skills such as Herblore, Prayer, Construction and so forth, this one takes the lead in saving some of those gold pennies! There are many different variations of Firemaking training, and it’s quite similar to F2P training, though of course having membership allows you to access other materials for maximum XP such as magic logs, mahogany logs, teak logs. You’ll also have access to more convenient locations for getting faster experience!
Materials & Hints
Firemaking is pretty basic. The only items you need are logs and a tinderbox, which can be purchased from any general store, or the Grand Exchange.
Everytime a fire burns completely out, it drops ashes which can be sold on the Grand Exhchange for a few coins.

Locations
Traditional firemaking can be best trained at locations that have a large west-leading path. Everytime you light a fire, your character will move to the west of it as long as there is nothing blocking your path. Below you can find some good locations with open areas, that are conveniently close to a bank.

Varrock East
